TIMOTHY MARTIN, Ph.D. received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University and completed pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowships at the Yale University School of Medicine Child Study Center.  Dr. Martin is a

licensed psychologist and Certified Health Services Provider. His research has focused on the impact of neuropsychological and psychosocial factors on academic achievement. Dr. Martin is an Affiliate Faculty member of the Suffolk University Psychology Department. He practices Child Clinical Psychology and Pediatric Neuropsychology. Prior to pursuing a career in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Martin was a special education teacher working directly with children experiencing traumatic brain injuries, autism, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Dr. Martin is a partner at Child & Family Psychological Services, Inc. In addition to his clinical services, he serves as the Associate Director and the Evaluation Services Program Director.

AVAILABILITY
Dr. Martin is available Monday-Wednesday and Friday in Norwood and on Thursdays in our Holliston and Braintree offices.

SERVICES PROVIDED
Dr. Martin specializes in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and consultation for children and families effected with: Autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s Disorder, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and Nonverbal Learning Disorders; Learning Disabilities and ADHD; medical illnesses; and other neuro-developmental, psychiatric and educational difficulties. He provides neuropsychological, psychological, and developmental evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults age 2 to 22. Dr. Martin is also available for professional presentations and school consultations.

HEALTH PLAN NETWORKS AND SCHOOL DISTRICTS
This doctor participates in the Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Behavioral Health (UBH) networks.  

Although the doctor does not participate with Tufts Health Plan (THP), their PPO plan does coverage our services and we will bill THP directly for patients with the PPO plan.  THP HMO members must make payment at the time of service.  CIGNA and other network plans cover his services on an out of network basis. With the exception of Tufts Health Plan, payment for out of network services must be made at the time of service and the client must submit claims directly to the network. 

Portions of evaluations related to educational achievement and learning disabilities are not covered by any health plan for any provider. The portion of an evaluation that is uncovered by a health plan will be the responsibility of the patient or their parent.

Although we do not accept the Massachusetts Rate Setting Commission rates, many school districts hire our neuropsychologists to provide evaluations for them or approve payment at our rates for independent evaluations.
