KIRK LUM, M.D. is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist.  Dr. Lum attended the Tufts University School of Medicine.  He completed his Residency in General Psychiatry at the Harvard Longwood Psychiatry Program before completing a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Hospital Program.  He also has a Master's degree in secondary education.

Dr. Lum is a partner at Child and Family Psychological Services, Inc. and serves as the Medical Director.

 

SERVICES PROVIDED

Dr. Lum provides psychiatric evaluation & education, pharmacological treatment, and supportive therapy when indicated. All new patients must be currently receiving regular psychotherapy.  If a patient is not currently receiving psychotherapy they may request such services at CFPS at the same time as requesting services from Dr. Lum.

AVAILABILITY

Dr. Lum is available in our Norwood office only.  He has office hours Monday through Friday. He is accepting new patients on a limited basis.

HEALTH PLAN NETWORKS
This doctor participates in the Aetna, Harvard Pilgrim (UBH-Pacificare), Blue Cross Blue Shield, and United Behavioral Health (UBH) networks.  

Although the doctor does not participate with Tufts Health Plan (THP), their PPO plan does cover our services and we will bill THP directly for patients with the PPO plan.  THP HMO members must make payment at the time of service.  CIGNA and other network plans cover his services on an out of network basis. With the exception of Tufts Health Plan PPO, payment for out of network services must be made at the time of service and the client must submit claims directly to the network.
